Usnea Gathering
Hello friends! I am thinking of hosting an usnea gathering session up on Mt. Dallas on Wednesday 9/16/26 at 4pm. There is an abundance on low hanging limbs that need to be cleared for fire safety. I would like to honor the medicine of the forest by harvesting this special creature and turn it into tincture and/or dry it to share with the community through the Herbal Mutual Aid Group. Folks may also gather for their own herb stash if that’s preferred. Please contact me directly for location information.
